Summary of Morpeth HC AGM 2026

The Club AGM took place on Wednesday 20th May.

The Chair summed up the Club's award winning season, the situation regarding the pitch, the growth of the club, and development opportunities. 

The Treasurer discussed funding options for the pitch, and the Club's current Finances.

Subs and Match fees for the 2026/27 season were agreed, and will be as follows...

• Senior Subs - £140
• Concession/Junior - £90
• Junior(U8) - £80
• Social Subs - £30
• Senior Match Fee - £9
• Concession/Junior Match Fee - £4.50

£2 Reduction to teams supplying tea for two

The proposed changes to the constitution were not shared 2 weeks before the event, as required by the Club Constitution. There will therefore be an online EGM on the 4th of June at 8pm to vote on them. The proposed constitution is available here and a summary of the changes available here.

The AGM voted on positions. Thank you to Lucy Brown and Tom Hewson who are stepping down from Social Media and Secretary (Club Organiser) and welcome to Nicky McLean (Vice Chair Ladies), Jasmine Bell (Junior Representative) Andy Grogan (Male Development Captain) and Graham Royle (Webmaster).
