Whether you’re a seasoned pro, haven’t picked up a stick since school, or literally have never touched a hockey ball in your life—this is for you!
We started our 4-week Back to Hockey & Social Hockey series on Saturday 20th June. It’s completely FREE, open to everyone and a fantastic way to try something new, get active, and meet a brilliant group of people.
Here is everything you need to know:
⏱️ THE SATURDAY SCHEDULE
14:00 - 14:30 | Back to Hockey: Perfect if you’re a complete beginner or haven’t played in years. Zero pressure, non-competitive and all about learning the basics.
14:30 - 15:30 | Social Hockey: A friendly, mixed-level game for current members and newcomers. Just pure gameplay and good vibes. (We highly recommend bringing shin pads and gum shields for this bit!) 🛡️
15:30 onwards is Social Drinks: Head over to our clubhouse to look around our facilities, grab a drink and catch up with friends old and new! 🍻🥤
🎒 WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Sticks: If you’ve got your own, bring it along! If not, don’t sweat it at all—we will supply one for you to use.
Kit: Just grab some comfortable sports kit and trainers.
Protection: Because Back to Hockey is totally non-competitive and gentle, you’re fine in standard activewear. If you’re staying on for the Social Hockey games, we strongly recommend wearing shin pads and a gum shield!
No need to book, just turn up on the day ready to give it a go! See you on the pitch!
