Every week Captains are looking for Umpires and they are becoming ever more difficult to source them. Umpiring is left to a select few who carry the load, these members are also players who are sometimes missing games to allow matches to go ahead.

Have you ever considered umpiring? The club will pay for your course, supply you with a free umpires pack and you will receive an exclusive Umpiring Polo Shirt. On top of this, you will be credited every time you umpire with a free game.

Despite the hard work of our Maintenance crew, the pitch is still liable to flooding, which leaves a lot of debris on the pitch, every member can help with maintenance, by just turning up 10 minutes earlier to their game and helping to clear/brush the pitch.

We have had a couple of weeks of training missed due to the current stormy weather, fingers crossed , training will not be interrupted too much in the run up to Christmas. It would be great to see you all there, Thursday nights at Longhirst

The early bird subscription offer is now closed, remember all Subscriptions must be paid by the end of November. Subs can be paid by using TEAMO or via our online shop.

Saturday 25th November there will be social drinks and other activities on throughout the day and evening, loads of home games to watch, plenty of laughter and there are whispers of a few fun games!

We will be holding our XMAS Party on Saturday 9th December at the Clubhouse. Food and drink and plenty of merry souls. Further details will follow, watch our social media channels for upcoming details.
