Morpeth Hockey Club was founded in 1922. We are proud to be the only hockey club in the North East with our own club facilities, including Club house with a bar.

In 2010 MHC won National acclaim when we were awarded England Hockey's first ever "Club of the Season”

MHC is affiliated with England Hockey and has Clubs First accreditation.

• Provide public support of a successful local sports organisation & aid junior hockey development.
• Help fund hockey training equipment and facility improvements.

• Develop new networking opportunities with potential for new business.
• Take part in our annual golfing event and join us at club days .

• Over 300 Members
• Senior section – 4 x Men’s & 3 x Ladies’ teams.
• Junior Section age 6-16yrs.
• England & Wales Representatives at Junior & Veteran Level.
• 150 + fixtures in a season travelling across the North of England.

Senior Section

• Ladies’ 1st XI – finished 3rd in North Hockey Division 1
• Men's Section - maintain all league statuses
• Ladies’ 2nd XI – Finished 2nd in Northumberland A League &Finalists in the Northumberland Cup (postponed due to COVID19).
• Ladies 3rd XI - maintain presence in Northumberland B League

Junior Section

• Development Team - Northumberland Development League Finalists(postponed due to COVID).
• U10 Girls - Northumberland and Durham In2hockey Championship winners & Boarder finalists(Postponed due to COVID)
