Match Report, Medics 3 - 0 Morpeth: A very early push back on a cold morning seemed to affect Morpeth as they started on the back foot against a fast Medics side. Two goals were quickly conceded. A change in formation and a defrosting of the minds resulted in Morpeth then taking the initiative, pinning Medics back with strong work from MoTm Evan, unfortunately no goals came despite the continued pressure.
The second half saw Morpeth continue to push forward but with no end result, DoD Tony had invested in tight leggings to win over the crowd and also try to stop getting injured, limped off! The mood also changed with multiple arguments on the pitch, souring the game and Morpeth conceded another goal. Even Ed’s champagne spinning pass couldn’t lift the result with Morpeth loosing 3-0.
